This room is called the Malaysian Honeyguide. This room used to be a family quarter for a goldsmith shop next to the bank and it is spacious at 500 sq ft. This room also our vertical garden. This room is called the Green Magpie room. Its name is inspired by a resident bird from the Perak aviary base. Facing our tranquil water garden, this room is sized at 250 sq ft. The magpie illustration in Sarang Paloh refers specifically to the Green Magpie (Cissa chinensis), commonly found in the lower Himalayas down to central Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and northwestern Borneo. They inhabit evergreen forests, clearings and scrubs, seeking food both on the ground and trees.

This room is called the Blue Rumped Parrot room. Facing our signature water garden, this room is equipped with classic eclectic Malaysian Chinese furniture of marble tables and antique bed frames and chairs from the 1950' s. This spacious room is sized at 250 sq ft.

This room is called the Olive Tree Pipit room. Our classic room with original timber flooring is furnished with teak furniture and the building's signature half moon Art Deco window. Its name is inspired by a resident bird from the Perak aviary base. Facing the historic Hugh Low Street, this room is sized at 280 sq ft.

This room is called the Great Tit room. Its name is inspired by a resident bird from the Perak aviary base. Facing the garden, this room is sized at 250 sq ft. The tits are passerine / perching birds which occur in the northern hemisphere and Africa. Their name tit has origins dating back to 14th century of Old English denoting something small. The tit illustration in Sarang Paloh refers specifically to the Great Tit (Parus major).

This room is called the Silver Swiftlet. This studio overlooks our signature water garden where you can have a cuppa overlooking its lush greenery. This studio is sized at 200 sq ft housed on the first floor of the YICK WOH pawnshop building.

The Gold Swiftlet is one of two family rooms in Sarang Paloh. It is perfect for a family or a group of friends (up to 6 persons) who are looking to explore Ipoh as it is strategically located near most famous Ipoh attractions! The room is located in what we believe was the main living quarters of the tenants of Yick Woh Building

Our Gold Swiftlet room is a loft room with original timber flooring is furnished with antique teak furniture and Marseille glass skylights. This spacious loft is sized at 300 sq ft. It comfortably fits two and it is strategically located in Ipoh Old Town where all the famous eateries are!
